Unlike traditional academic database conglomerates, our software applications are designed to prioritize local execution. For example, in MyCiter, your bibliographic libraries, PDF notes, annotations, and outlines are stored on your local disk.

• Account Details: We collect only necessary login information (name, email address, institutional affiliation) to handle license validations and premium cloud sync features.
• Telemetry: We do not track the topics you research, the journals you browse, or the content of the PDFs you upload to our tools.
• AI Training: Cunari has a strict policy: we do not sell your personal files, nor do we train external artificial intelligence engines or LLM datasets on your citation libraries or drafts.

2. Cloud Sync & Portability

If you explicitly choose to enable our premium cloud-sync options, your database is encrypted and synchronized to secure servers. You maintain full ownership of this data and can export your entire collection at any time in universal open formats (such as .RIS or BibTeX) without restrictions.

3. Security Measures

We employ industry-standard cryptographic techniques to safeguard your personal credentials and any synced bibliographic files. However, because our applications support offline-first local storage, it is your responsibility to secure your physical device and manage regular local backups of your library.

4. Children's Privacy

Our software utility portfolio is targeted towards students, university affiliates, and professional researchers. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiers from children under the age of 13.
